The shoppers leave the merchants and race to the Death Pit for a drink, a stool and view of the carnage. Wagers are swiftly negotiated between the touts and their marks, er customers.
When the bloodied dwarf’s axe finally finds its target and drops the desert elf to the earth, the crowd erupts into applause and curses. Above the crowd, a gruff voice is heard “Ye victor used an axe forged by meself, Wrarn Forgeborn, come to here for the finest blades in the land. Don’t settle for that imposter Graij’s rusty nails.” Soon followed by a wise voice “the salves which saved the life of the wretched elf can be found here at Zelta’s Alchemy, don’t be caught in a battle without one.”
The punters return to their shopping awaiting the next bout.
