The City of the Twin Rivers, also known as Sligas, sprawls from Gaping Maw Bay across the Lesser Maw River. On that side of the rivers lies a poorer district, a place where no one wants to know your name and secret meetings can go unchallenged. The nobles and merchants in the wall enclosed Old City are fervently unaware of plots brewing across town, unless they are the ones doing the plotting.
Like all of Alyssa Faden’s maps, Sligas provides enough visual hooks that no game session using them could hope to be dull. The disparity between the Old City on the bay and the poorer hovels across the rivers is striking, but so is the detail within the Old City itself. Alleyways twist and turn, mansions and citadels tower above, and all manner of adventure can be found in the streets below.
