Jack Frank is the creator of OnceWas RPG, a transmedia fantasy franchise built around the motto "Read the Novels. Play the Adventures.™" — a world that lives in both fiction and at the game table.
OnceWas grew out of a 300+ session home campaign and has expanded into a complete RPG system, a growing library of adventure modules, and the Odd Company Chronicles novel trilogy. The Core Rulebook features a clean d20 roll-high system that's fast to learn and built for narrative-driven play.
As publisher through OnceWas RPG LLC, Jack has released a Core Rule Book, a full campaign setting, a Compendium of Creatures, and an extensive module line, plus the sprawling city sourcebook X1: Realm's End — The City of Keys. Every product is designed to work together, letting players read the stories and then step into the same world.
