The goal of the Wild Boar mapping system is to offer you, the Gamemaster, instant access to a full sized map, be it a forest, a cave or more. Smaller tiles can add details if you need something more specific.
Is your party exploring a mineshaft when they trigger a random encounter? Toss down the main map of one of my Cave Tile sets and get started. Has something creeped into their camp in the middle of the night? Add the camp tile onto a main Forest Tile map and you’re all set.
And if you need to go bigger? Many maps line up side by side with others. Do you need a long road journey? Line up several maps from the Forest Roads to create some distance.
Some maps offer many options on where the smaller tiles. I’ve included thematic birds to most maps to show you ideal locations.
