Black Void is an esoteric dark fantasy RPG set in an unfamiliar and hostile Cosmos in the aftermath of the fall of Earth.
The players are descendants of the survivors from Earth, the lost cradle of humanity, and Llyhn is their home now. Swarming with outlandish life forms, eccentric Daimons and fickle demigods; it is a swelling cosmopolis of intrigue, wonder, treachery, corruption, beauty, decadence and eldritch menace.
Black Void uses an original D12-based rule set built on a few basic principles. Actions are resolved by a single roll and can be associated with differing Traits or skills - enabling players to adopt their individual style depending on circumstances or personal preference.
The game deals with themes such as alienation, esoteric intrigue, enlightenment, cultural tension, Cosmic horror, and survival.
