The kingdom of Valeward is at war. Its eastern neighbour, Kharos, has seized the fertile province of Eastmere in a bold act of aggression, and the crown needs heroes. Your party has been tasked with a crucial mission: travel north to the gnomish village of Tinkerton and contract the construction of war catapults for the front lines. What should be a simple diplomatic errand will take the characters deep into the frozen Northern Wastes, pit them against an orc warlord with ambitions of his own, and unravel a conspiracy that may reach further than anyone suspects.
