The world ended and was remade into the Hoop. The remains of the old world are scattered across the landscape in a chilling reminder of what failure looks like: ruined buildings, terrifying technologies, and war-torn wastelands. But new life does grow, colorful and unusual.
In order to maintain the new world they have created, the Patrons have descended from their heaven and now live among us. Their decree was simple: violence towards another is forbidden.
But people are not so simple. They each have wants and wishes, and require methods to resolve the conflicts between desires. To this end, the Patrons declared the Sport as the tool to resolve conflict. While hesitant at first, each society in turn found the Sport to be a good substitute, and is now an aspect of everyday life in the Hoop.
Our six teams now vie for the peak of the Falling Star Tournament, where the winners will be awarded a single, world changing wish. Who will you lead to victory?
In Dreamers of the Hoop you take control of a team of four Dreamers to Sport against your opposition in hopes of winning the Patron's favor! It is a competitive, tactical, turn-based game for two players that takes about 40 minutes to play a match.
