In Oath of the Silent Angel, a group of level-10 adventurers heed the words of a bishop and embark on a dangerous journey into the Barren Badlands. It is known that a perilous dungeon lies in the depths of this arid region. An arcane barrier impedes teleportation and summoning magic. Hence, the party must brave the dangers of the badlands. There have been recent reports of caravans being attacked by prowling bulettes.
In the shrine, the characters, the bishop, and an archmage explore the strange, uncharted compound. The fabled artifact that the bishop covets lies guarded behind a grand adamantine gate. To open it, the party must overcome two trials of might. In the Shrine of the Silent Angel, the characters might even have to confront their own shadows...
