Curse of Orthnix

A cursed dagger that steals youth, a buried desert manor, and a noble who refused to die await those brave enough to challenge the Curse of Orthnix.

Designed for 4-6 characters of 5th level, Curse of Orthnix is a D&D 5.5E adventure that takes players into the forgotten manor and tomb of Baron Bohdan Orthnix, a noble whose obsession with immortality led him down a dark and dangerous path.

When the infamous Sacrificial Dagger of Orthnix resurfaces, the characters must uncover the truth behind its curse and journey beneath the shifting sands to end its influence forever. Their quest will lead them through five dungeon levels filled with cultists, undead guardians, elemental experiments, hidden vaults, deadly traps, and ancient treasures.

More than a traditional dungeon crawl, Curse of Orthnix also introduces Complex Curses, a system that transforms cursed items into story-driven adventures with unique histories, clues, and methods of removal.
