Barbarians that follow the Path of Chaos channel the untamed forces of the elemental planes, unleashing primordial fury on their enemies. Though the elements answer their call, the chaos they wield can never be fully controlled.

With this Barbarian subclass, your rage is strengthened to deal extra elemental damage, gain an extra resistance, and transform your play with a random effect. The Elemental Chaos roll table has a set of carefully curated and balanced effects to elimiate the "dud" feel you can get with Wild Magic.

You also gain the ability to merge with elemental surfaces and objects and can travel short distances through them. This opens up exploration, scouting, and ambush opportunities, which is something most Barbarian subclasses lack.

The subclass is designed to land between the Berserker and Zealot for damage and durability, making it a balanced addition to any game. This subclass also works with both versions of 5th edition (2014 & 2024).
