Some truths are locked away for a reason.
The Deep Scriptorium lies hidden beneath forgotten stonework, sealed passages, and routes known only to those who serve The Watchers. Blue candles burn beside chained books. Glyph plates turn without hands. Whispers move through the walls, offering answers that arrive too early and cost too much.
Within this sanctum, The Watchers gather forbidden records, altered doctrines, stolen rites, and secrets they believe the world is too weak to hold. Their ritual, the Hidden Key, is already active. Each forced answer strengthens it. Each failed puzzle feeds it. Each secret opened without care gives the Scriptorium more power over those who entered.
The characters must navigate a layered catacomb of puzzle chambers, dangerous archives, ritual devices, hidden routes, and watchful cultists. Revelation Points track how much the site learns from them, while Hidden Truths offer ways to weaken the ritual and prepare for the final trial. Knowledge is useful here, though every answer has a cost.
At the center waits Aporion, Fallen Saint of Secrets, guarded by the Labyrinth of the Whispering Eyes and the sentry eye above it. The final confrontation can become a brutal boss fight shaped by gathered revelations, or a rare alternate resolution where the party defeats the saint by proving they know what he tried to bury.
Aporion, Fallen Saint of Secrets is a compact, puzzle-driven Saints of Ruin adventure built around forbidden knowledge, psychic pressure, and controlled revelation.
This release emphasizes momentum over exploration, hard choices over safe outcomes, and lasting consequences recorded beyond the adventure itself.
Designed for 1-2 sessions, this release features:
