Cyclopes of the Extremes is a monster supplement for 5e that presents cyclopes not as a single wandering giant archetype, but as apex predators shaped by the most dangerous environments in the world. Instead of relying on the familiar mythic brute alone, this book explores how a cyclops adapts to ice fields, deep forests, volcanic slopes, and suffocating jungles.
The intent of this product is environmental encounter variety without CR inflation. Each entry uses the familiar cyclops chassis at CR 6 while emphasizing terrain adaptation, battlefield control, and regional dominance. These creatures are not civilization builders or organized tribes. They are territorial monsters that become defining hazards of the landscapes they inhabit.
Each cyclops in this supplement represents a different ecological evolution. Frozen titans stalk glaciers, swamp cyclopes lurk half-submerged in marsh water, and volcanic cyclopes stride across lava fields. These variants allow a GM to place a cyclops naturally into nearly any wilderness region without needing to invent entirely new monster roles.
