Below the ruined golem manufactory of Kostryl’s Ironwrought Assembly, the Veiled Merchants move their goods in the shadows. Madessa Vren hires the characters to discreetly acquire the radiant Gilded Egg of Shurraad, while her rival Kelvos Marronis offers a richer deal—and a dangerous secret. As enigmatic bidders from many walks of life compete for cursed treasures, tension coils tighter with every raised token.

When the final lot is unveiled, treachery strikes from within. A traitorous doppelganger shatters the fragile balance of the evening, unleashing a wave of aberrant magic that turns guests into horrors. In response, the unblinking Auction Master, Faylen Kael, seals the complex in arcane lockdown and commands his adamantine juggernaut—the Lockwarden—to cleanse the hall.

What follows is a multi-layered survival scenario blending social intrigue, investigative horror, and explosive combat. Players must navigate shifting alliances, salvage ancient dwarven components to repair a sabotaged elevator system, outmaneuver deadly glyph traps, and decide whom—if anyone—to trust.
