The Void Corsairs challenges players with a starfaring battle that escalates into horror. Beginning with chaotic boarding actions against desperate Eythereal buccaneers, the adventure shifts as the void takes hold and pirates twist into thralls. Act 2 brings the Za’straszi ship into view, unleashing corruption waves, swooping gatherers, and escalating chaos. Act 3 culminates in a multi-phase showdown against the Herald of the Void, fought on a collapsing deck with nowhere to run but into the black.
Features large-scale fleet combat framed cinematically, thematic corruption mechanics that pressure players, and a climactic boss fight where space is as dangerous as the monster itself.
The Void Corsairs is a 5th edition, level 6 starfaring horror adventure set in the Sea of Stars. Designed for 2–3 sessions (6–10 hours total), it blends swashbuckling boarding action with creeping void corruption. Perfect for groups who enjoy naval combat, escalating horror, and finales where the battlefield itself is as deadly as the foe.
This adventure can be adapted to your own campaign, played as a one-shot, or be part of the Starlight Chronicles setting that connects everything made by Kelfecil's Tales.
