A tremor ripples through the leylines of Latakar. Flames flicker without wind, rivers swell against the pull of the moon, and stones tremble as if remembering an older rhythm. Air gathers in spirals above lonely peaks. Sparks drift upward from silent furnaces. In forgotten shrines and half-erased summoning circles, shapes begin to rise and take form. Elemental spirits answer calls they have not heard in centuries.
Some awaken by accident, born from stray ritual energy. Others follow the pull of ambitious conjurers who seek to command more than they understand. From drifting motes of animated flame to towering engines of tide and stone, summoned elementals walk beside mages, protect forbidden vaults, or wander untethered through fields, caverns, and coastlines. Even stranger manifestations stir at the edges of the world. Bladed constructs hum with stored energy, tomes flutter with arcane intent, and otherworldly vehicles roar to life in streaks of astral fire.
To summon such forces is to touch the raw bones of creation. Power surges, but so does consequence. Elementals obey, resist, or reshape the moment based on the strength of the summoner’s will. Those who fail to hold their circle may unleash far more than they intended.
