The angel's imbalanced behavior has caused the townsfolk of Goldwing to magically lose all motivation in life. They spend their slow days in a stupor.
A visiting scholar and a knight, the only two outsiders in town are unaffected. They seek the characters to aid them visit the closed-off shrine under the font. Beneath, they find a crumbling compound that is in dire need of repair. The characters and their companions explore this perilous dungeon looking for a way to restore health to the villagers.
