A path coils through flower and fog, the Dead always watching, always listening. Behind each adventurer drifts a silent wraith; appointed, personal, waiting.
Here, status is spoken and worth is witnessed. Here, each player is shadowed by a wraith drawn from their own past or conjured by the realm; a peer or superior with a grievance unspoken and unresolved. The wraiths do not attack. They do not speak. But they refuse to leave until the balance is restored.
This is not a land of combat. It is a theatre of memory and reputation. Each wraith haunts until it has delivered, in full view of others, a sincere apology or thanks to the player it follows. Not before.
To provoke that moment, the adventurer must act in public, visibly, boldly. Not to please the crowd, but to satisfy the silent. The wraiths value truth, loyalty, justice, remembrance. No two are the same. All demand more than spectacle.
Will your adventurers confront what follows them and earn their due, or walk the circle forever, never thanked, never forgiven, never known?
