The ground yawns open, a tooth-shaped scar on the world. At its base, black water waits, utterly still, whispering for witnesses.
Your adventurers arrive at Hydra Hole, a strange and theatrical sinkhole in a realm where fame is sustenance. The hydra within is no enemy but a peer and prisoner, caught in an eternal cycle of spectacular self-display. Its snake-headed audience hisses approval. The world around them holds its breath, waiting to be impressed.
Here, no deed matters unless it is seen. Speak loudly. Act boldly. Perform well. This realm does not punish failure. It ignores it. Invisibility is oblivion.
Each action may echo in the Hole’s uncanny stillness or vanish into void. Boons are granted not by gods but by spectators. Recognition is the only true currency.
Will your adventurers embrace the spotlight or slink into silence, forgotten before the echoes fade?
