A One-Shot Adventure for 2nd Level Characters

A monstrous insect-like creature, an Ankheg, has established a new home in the northern ranchlands. Each night it bursts from the ground among the cattle pastures and snatches another tasty morsel. The ranchers are desperate for help and are looking to hire a band of adventurers to take up the task.

Are your players ready to take up the hunt?

Ankheg Attacks! is a one-shot adventure for 2nd-level characters. It takes about 3-4 hours to complete and includes:

• A classic monster for a Tier 1 party–the Ankheg
• A band of kobolds who could be friends or foes
• The kobolds offer the opportunity for a new twist to the classic monster hunt adventure
• Encounters that offer both combat and non-combat options
• A great, hand-drawn map
• Pre-Configured Dynamic Lightning
• All NPC tokens placed on the map
• Linked journal entries for each area of the map complete with descriptive text, enemies, and suggested checks

About this Adventure

This adventure is part of my Drop-In Delves series. It is designed to be an easy-to-run, one session quest that you can drop-in to your existing campaign or serve as a great, minimal prep one-shots.
