The Veiled One is a character appearing in many legends of different traditions among the people of Latakar. A witch of immense power, forbidden to enter any coven, for all those who accepted her eventually disappeared. She often acts as a trickster figure, toying with heroes and seemingly acting erratically, but in the end, always gets what she wants, which most of the time are magic items, spells or even the magic talent itself.
One legend though is said to be her true origin story: it is called The Queen’s Lament and is very popular among bards of the central Latakar. It tells of an
ancient kingdom of sorcerers, built by an arrogant human king who conquered a realm of fey and built his castle upon its ruins.
The Veiled Lady is a Fifth Edition one-shot adventure for a party at level 12. This adventure can be adapted to your own campaign, played as a one-shot, or be part of the Starlight Chronicles setting that connects everything made by Kelfecil's Tales.

This adventure can be played at any level by adjusting the number of monsters in it as well as their behavior. It has been made with Roll20 in mind and can therefore run very smoothly on this Virtual TableTop.
Install this Add-On via the dropdown menu in the Game Addons section of the Game Details Page. Select Bug Butchers and click on the blue Add to Game button beside the drop-down menu.
