You are The Original Company - the first to travel through the Moon Gate in search of artifacts in the Desert Realm of Damaz. You do not have much more than your packs and a map, and you are tasked with finding an ancient magical artifact called The Heart of Damaz. The jewel is rumored to grant the bearer the ability to locate the Lost Gods of the desert, and harness their power.
According to the ancient texts, the sacred temple where the jewel lies hidden disappeared during a catastrophic magical event known as The Break. This cataclysm unleashed a series of devastating quakes, causing the temple to plunge into a deep fissure, lost to the ages and buried beneath layers of rock and sand. Now, the jewel's hiding place lies in ruin, its secrets guarded by a maze of perilous traps and loyal guardians. The Heart of Damaz waits for those bold (or foolish) enough to claim it. Inside, the lost Book of Secrets provides the clues that lead the explorers through the dark halls, and toward the legendary Heart. But will they escape with their lives?

As the Moon Gate Exploration Co. travel through the arched stone portal, they find themselves in unfamiliar lands filled with dangers and horrors untold. The terrain, towns, and even the creatures encountered therein may not resemble any that they have seen in their previous travels. Or they might seem much too familiar for their comfort. Regardless of the risks, exploration is their business, and the company sets forth to map yet another uncharted realm.
