The Executioner

Author: Aenarion's Coven

Addon: Content which can be added into any game - new or existing!

THE EXECUTIONER

“The imminent death of one rightly or wrongly convicted of a crime; false accusation and unjust prosecution.”

This short adventure takes place in one of the Ravenloft domains and is inspired by the executioner card. The seventh in the Tarokka deck.
This adventure is part of a group of quests based on each tarokka. You can use this adventure as a stand-alone or as part of a greater campaign.
Our suggestion is to make your players play these small adventures during a tarokka reading, letting the Tarokka deck itself decide what adventure to play for each card drawn. When they draw the card, transport them into the small adventure telling them the meaning of the card in the meanwhile!
Now enjoy this quest and be ready to explore the darkest secrets the tarokka are about to reveal to you!

Once the quest is done you can make your players return to their previous place, where the tarokka card was first drawn.

WHAT’S INSIDE?
Inside this adventure:
• A short quest for 5th level characters;
• A unique story based on the Executioner card in the Tarokka deck;
• 3 unique maps for the adventure, both with day and night variant;
• 2 new enemies:
o The Executioner
o Scarecrow Guard
