"The rock shrinks as it falls far below into the chasm depths. You knew it was deep, but you didn't think it would swallow the rock whole, making no sound whatsoever. You've been in here for what feels like hours wondering across the rocky paths towards an exit. Any exit at this point would be welcome, for the air down here inside the mountain is extremely thin. You feel brief, cold gusts of air brush your face from time to time, and as you do, breathing seems easier for a moment. All concept of time has gone, and your supplies are nearing depletion. Suddenly all of your senses are hit at once as you see a bright, green light, a terrible heat from below, along with a hideous screech echoing throughout the cavern walls around you."
