Step Into London's Dark Heart

The scenarios in this book highlight the grimy underbelly of Victorian London. The first, Ashes to Ashes, works well for novice Keepers and players, while Signs Writ in Scarlet provides a deeper and more widespread mystery to challenge experienced players.

Ashes to Ashes

This one-shot scenario is suited to three to six players and can be played in one or two sessions. While set in London, it may be relocated to any large town or city in Victorian Britain. The investigators are assumed to be working-class employees at Lange’s Dust Yard, a disposal center for the city’s trash, although a broader range of investigators is possible.

Signs Writ in Scarlet

This deadly sandbox-style scenario is best suited for experienced Keepers. Set in London’s East End, it may take several sessions of play for up to six investigators, who come from a variety of social class backgrounds.

Cthulhu by Gaslight: Dust and Blood includes ten pre-generated investigators, specially designed to be used in these scenarios. It requires the Cthulhu by Gaslight: Investigators' Guide.

Accessing your content

Module

• To create a new game based off of the modules, click on the Start New Game option from the site menu. The column on the right hand side of the page is titled Optional: Choose a Module. Underneath this are thumbnail tiles for all the various Roll20 modules that are available. For the ones you have purchased, mousing over the thumbnail will make a check mark icon appear over the thumbnail tile. Clicking on the tile will select this module to be used as the base for this new game.

Compendium

• You can access the Dust and Blood compendium content in the in-app compendium, as well as on the Roll20 web compendium.

Which Character Sheet should I use?

• All Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition licensed content on Roll20 uses the Call of Cthulhu by Roll20 sheet.
