Soulstone #005 continues the Moonshroud Realms webzine with a grounded look at Trellen Gap, a hard-won settlement carved from the edge of the Great Forest. This volume shifts the focus inland, where isolation, fragile stability, and the constant strain of survival define daily life. Here, protection is not assumed, and what stands is maintained through vigilance, cooperation, and force when required.

This volume expands the setting through new locations, NPCs, and player-facing content shaped by frontier life. It introduces divine systems tied to action and consequence, new magic rooted in shifting influence, and continues the Gutterdeep Warrens dungeon serial. The included adventure, Butterfly King, presents a 5th-level scenario centered on a Haelo incursion, where the land itself is reshaped by a force that does not understand the damage it causes.
