Maps

Fane of Night. An open-air (does that count in the underdark?) place of worship, risen from the ruins of a long-forgotten and collapsed temple. Half-buried, fallen pillars from some pre-existing structure now serving as pews, graffiti and time having worn the original carvings of worship from the pillars. The altar remains, but has now smoothed and worn over the years. Natural outcrops of glowing geodes tower like lanterns illuminating the area.
Fishfolk Village. On the shores of a great underground lake, a small village of fishfolk have taken up residence. Ramshackle huts and hovels have been erected from the wreckage of ships and boats lost across the lake. Tucked away in the corner, a small altar to a strange and violent deity can be found.
Flayer Colony. An otherworldly lair of a terrible eldritch threat. Pools of unknown liquid squirm with alien technology, and strange runes and sigils on the floor wreak havoc with the minds of intruders.
Myconid Colony. A small, organised forest of various towering mushrooms and fungus. Several basic fungal hovels and naturally-grown chairs are dotted around, with thick walls of fungus that serve as locked doors closing off areas. A small visiting trading post lingers on the edge of the settlement, where other visitors to the Underdark can risk trying to trade with the Myconids. Characters in Foundry can pass beneath the large overhead mushroom fronds.
Goldander's Mine. A vertical pit mining operation in the middle of a small deep gnome outpost. the central shaft dug too deep (and some would even argue - too greedily) and awoke a powerful demon. In a panic, the miners collapsed the pit and filled the shaft with rubble, but the fiery glow of the angry demon shines through the rocks below as it digs ever upwards.
Throgar Chasm. A chasm of dark stone and howling winds, found at the deepest, rarely explored recesses of the Undercavern. Pockets of small fungus amongst the rock, emitting very little light. Enormous steps, carved by unknown masons cut through up and down the chasm. A magic singularity shines with complex runes - is this a portal to somewhere even more alien, or is it the remnants of a powerful ritual?
Drow Outpost. A reinforced watchtower on the edge of an underground lake. An interrogation room is under heavy guard, whilst the upper floor allow the occupants to keep an eye out on the surrounding region.
Sword Spider Lair. A expansive cave network choked with fungus and heavy webs. Massive gouges line the floors and walls of the cave, where a great scythe-limbed beast feeds upon its prey. Tucked away in the back of the cavern is a long-lost shrine to the queen of spiders, filled with treasure and tributes that have long since become inaccessible thanks to the hunger of the cavern's occupant. A variant is available of this map with multi-coloured crystals and fungus.
